SOMETHING ABOUT ME Rudy is more than just a notable name remembered from the Cosby Show. "Rudy” is a breath of fresh air to R and B. Born in Augusta, Ga and raised in North Augusta, South Carolina. Rudy brings a variety of experiences within her life through her music. At the age of five, Rudy started singing in Gospel Chorus at Trinity C.M.E. actively singing in church. Rudy realized that music was what sparked her interest. Growing up in the single parent household of a school teacher was very helpful when it came to writing. "Writing was a natural high" for Rudy. Rudy began to showcase her talent by joining a local group called Power Dance and was the first Vocalist to perform at The Morrison Museum. Rudy has also been requested at numerous weddings and college events and local clubs such as The Augusta Peach, Club 706, Club 3000, Soultry Sounds and Café 209 on the River. Recently Rudy has performed at The James Brown Arena in Augusta, GA and has also done openings for Comedians such as Henry Welch, Tight Mike of BET All-Star of Comic View and Sunshine of DEF JAM. Currently, Rudy is working at Disaster Recordz in preparation for her debut album. Rudy's goal is to take music to a virtual level of meaning and understanding. Rudy wants for people to hear, react, and reflect on her music as well as her lyrics. "Writing from experience can be a thin line between love and hate". Rudy takes time to relay her intimate feelings on life through her lyrics. If given the opportunity to shine Rudy will build a blissful and satisfying foundation in the R and B industry
